Sweet And Sour Tuna

Ingredients
  Canned pineapple tidbits 7 Ounce (1 Can Or 1 Cup)
  Vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Green onions 4 , sliced diagonally
  Green pepper 1 , sliced thin
  Tomatoes 2 , peeled, seeded, and cut into eighths
  Canned tuna 14 Ounce (2 Cans Of 7 Ounce Each)
Directions

Drain syrup from pineapple and combine it with vinegar and sugar.
Mix soy sauce with cornstarch, and add.
Cook, stirring constantly, until clear and thickened.
Add onions, green pepper, pineapple, and tomatoes, and simmer for 4 minutes.
Add tuna, broken into large flakes, and cook just long enough to heat.
Serve with chow-mein noodles if desired; or 1/4 cup split almonds can be added to this dish.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
