Sweet And Sour Tuna
|Canned pineapple chunks||8 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Packed brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Soy sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Vegetable bouillon cube||1 , crumbled|
|Canned tuna||9 1⁄4 Ounce, drained and broken in chunks (1 Can)|
|Green pepper strips||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chow mein noodles/Hot cooked rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
Add water to syrup to equal 1 cup.
In 4-cup glass measure, combine brown sugar and cornstarch; blend in reserved syrup mixture, vinegar, soy sauce, salt, and crumbled bouillon cube.
Cook at HIGH for 3 minutes or till thickened and bubbly, stirring after each minute.
Stir in pineapple, tuna, and green pepper.
Cook, covered, at MEDIUM HIGH (7) for 5 to 6 minutes or till green pepper is crisp-tender.
