Chocolate Truffle Cake

Ingredients
  8 inch rich chocolate cake 1 (Round, Bought / Homemade)
  Chocolate sticks 13 1⁄2 Ounce (3 Packs, 4 1/2 Ounce / 120 Gram Each)
  Dark chocolate ganache/Double quantity chocolate fudge icing 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Single Quantity)
  Chocolate truffles 10 Ounce (300 Gram)
  Pink crystallized roses 2 Ounce (50 Gram)
Directions

1. Trim the chocolate sticks so that they are 1 cm (1/2 inch) longer than the depth of the cake. Place the cake on the plate and use a palette knife to spread the ganache or fudge icing over the top and sides.
2. While the icing is still soft, secure the chocolate sticks, spacing them fractionally apart, around the sides of the cake.
3. Arrange the truffles over the top of the cake and scatter over the roses. Tie the ribbon around the cake, finishing with a bow.
