Salted Caramel Whisky Chocolate Truffles

Whisky and salted caramel infused chocolate truffles. This truffle recipe is perfect for Valentines Day.

Ingredients

For the truffles:
Heavy cream 125 Milliliter (½ cup)
Salted caramel sauce 125 Milliliter (½ cup, store
Unsalted butter 50 Gram , cubed (4 tbsp)
Whiskey 3 Tablespoon (optional, but necessary!)
Bittersweet chocolate 10 1/2 Ounce , roughly chopped (300 g)
Instant espresso powder 1 Teaspoon
Sea salt 1 Teaspoon (plus more for sprinkling)
Unsweetened cocoa powder 50 Gram (about ½ cup, for coating)
To make the salted caramel sauce:
Water 3 Tablespoon
Light corn syrup 1 Tablespoon
Granulated sugar 200 Gram (1 cup)
Butter 12 Gram (salted or unsalted works fine)
Heavy cream 190 Milliliter (3/4 cup)
Salt 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon (optional)
