  Trout 1
  Bread crumbs   (as required)
  Salt To Taste
  Shortening 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Roll trout in mixture of crumbs and salt.
Heat shortening in skillet; fry trout, turning once, for 4 minutes or until browned and fish flakes easily with a fork.
