  Whole cloves 4

Directions

MAKING
1)Take a large kettle and pour 2 quarts cold water into it.
2)Add all remaining ingredients except trout.
3)Bring to boil and then simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
4)Add the trout pieces and simmer until tender.
5)Strain.

SERVING
6)Serve the Court bouillon hot.
