Grilled Trout With Almonds
|Brook trout||4 , cleaned|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Almonds||2 Tablespoon, slivered|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Parsley||2 Tablespoon, snipped|
Remove heads from fish; wash and pat dry with paper towels.
Combine flour, salt, and pepper; dip fish in seasoned flour.
Place coated fish in an oiled wire broiler basket.
Broil fish over hot coals 15 minutes or till fish flakes with a fork, turning once.
Baste with 1/4 cup melted butter.
Melt remaining 1/4 cup butter in a saucepan and add almonds.
Brown almonds, stirring occasionally.
Stir in lemon juice and parsley.
Place grilled fish on warm platter and pour lemon sauce over.
