Steamed Speckled Trout With Vegetables

The speckled trout bite continues to be very strong and they are being caught on live shrimp, cut bait and most any type of artificial lure.
Ingredients
For speckled trout
  Speckled trout 2 Pound, cut into 1 1/2 inch steaks
  Lemons 5
  Lemon pepper seasoning To Taste, seasoning
For steamed vegetables
  Broccoli head 1
  Cauliflower head 1
  Carrots 2
  Yellow squash 1
  Zucchini 1 Small
Directions

Speckled Trout

Using a steam pot, bring water to a rolling boil and add 4 sliced lemons to the water. Cut remaining lemon in half and squeeze it over trout steaks. Place the trout steaks in steamer and cook for 10 minutes. Once the trout is cooked, sprinkle with lemon pepper and serve with a side of steamed vegetables.

Steamed Vegetables

Cut vegetables into small pieces and add to steamer. Let cook for 10 to 15 minutes, until soft.
