Black Forest Trifle
|Chocolate cake mix||9 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Brandy/Rum||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cherry pie filling||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Instant chocolate pudding||1 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Cool whip||1 Medium|
Bake cake as package directs.
Cool and cut in cubes.
Prepare pudding as package directs.
Arrange one half cake cubes in glass bowl.
Sprinkle 1 ounce rum or brandy.
Layer one half of pudding, then one half of cherry pie filling; next, one half of Cool Whip.
Repeat layering in order given.
Chill at least 3 hours before serving.
Looks very pretty in a tall stemmed bowl.
