|Icing sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , well beaten|
|Cold strong coffee||2 Tablespoon|
|Lady fingers||20 Ounce (2 Packages)|
|Toasted sliced almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cream together butter and sugar.
Add beaten egg and vanilla.
In loaf pan place a layer of halved ladyfingers, sprinkle with some coffee and spread with some butter mixture.
Keep repeating until dessert fills pan.
Chill until firm or overnight.
Invert on plate and ice dessert with remaining butter mixture.
Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
