Texas Corn Bread
|Corn bread mix||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Milk||1 2⁄3 Cup (26.67 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Bacon slices||4 , crisp-cooked, crumbled|
|Cream style corn||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Jalapeno chili||2 , finely chopped|
Preheat a greased 101/2-inch iron skillet in a 400 degree oven.
Combine the dry corn bread mix, milk, vegetable oil, eggs, sugar, bacon, cream style corn and jalapeho chiles in a large bowl and mix well.
Pour the batter into the hot iron skillet.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
