Score 1 1/2 to 2 pound flank steak; place in shallow glass dish.
Pour 1 bottle (8 ounces) Italian salad dressing on steak.
Cover; refrigerate at least 8 hours, turning meat occasionally.
Set oven control at broil and/or 550Â°.
Remove steak from dressing; reserve dressing.
Broil steak 3 to 4 inches from heat about 5 minutes on each side, brushing several times with the reserved dressing.
Cut meat across grain at a slanted angle into thin slices.
