Vancouver Salmon Loaf
|Canned salmon||15 1⁄2 Ounce, undrained, 439 g|
|Egg||1 , lightly beaten|
|Breadcrumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs), 250 ml|
|Whipping cream/Sour cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), 60 ml|
|Celery leaves||2 Tablespoon, 30 ml|
|Curry powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon, 2 ml|
|Salt||1 Teaspoon, 5 ml|
|Pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon, 1 ml|
Empty the can of salmon into a bowl, crush the bones with a fork, flake the undrained fish, and mix together with a fork.
Add the remaining ingredients.
Mix thoroughly and place in a 9 X 5-inch (23 x 13 cm) loaf pan.
Cover with waxed paper.
Microwave 6 to 9 minutes at HIGH.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Unmold and serve.
