Texas Style Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Onion 1 Large
  Vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm)
  Lemon juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Grated lemon peel 1 Tablespoon
  Catsup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Worcestershire sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Tabasco sauce 4 Drop
  Chili powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sage powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Melt butter. Add onion, and cook until soft. Add remaining ingredients and cook for 30 minutes, until slightly thick and flavors have blended. Use as a basting sauce for meats on the grill. Heat remaining sauce and serve with meat. This tangy barbecue sauce is especially good on chicken and is delicious with beef or pork.
