California Walnut Cheese Logs
|Grated onion||1 Teaspoon, grated|
|Port wine||3 Tablespoon|
|Cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Soft cheddar cheese||1 Pound|
|Cream cheese||6 Ounce|
|Bleu cheese||1⁄4 Pound|
|Smoked cheese||1⁄4 Pound|
|Prepared mustard||1 Tablespoon|
Grate cheddar cheese; combine with one package of the cream cheese, the Bleu cheese, and smoked cheese.
Mix in mustard, grated onion and port, using electric mixer or your hands.
Shape into logs about an inch in diameter.
Blend remaining package of cream cheese with enough cream until of spreading consistency and spread over the logs.
Roll in walnuts.
Wrap in aluminum foil and chill in refrigerator.
Slice and serve on as- sorted crackers.
