Oregon Apple Bread
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Peeled grated apple||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts/Chopped pecans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1 In a bowl cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.Add the eggs and beat well.
2 Sift together the dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture,alternating with the grated apple.
3 Fold in the nuts and pour into a buttered and floured loaf pan.
4 Bake at 350 degrees farenheit for about 1 hour.Cool in a pan for 10 minutes then turn onto a wire rack.
5 Serve as desired.
