Louisiana Mint Julep
|Fresh mint sprigs||4|
|Sugar||1 Teaspoon (Use More As Needed)|
|Bourbon whiskey||3 Ounce (2 Jiggers)|
Put fresh mint in bottom of a tall thin glass.
Add sugar and water.
Use a wooden muddler and "bruise" the mint with sugar and water, thoroughly.
Add bourbon whiskey.
Pack the glass to the brim with crushed ice.
Add one more jigger of whiskey.
Put a sprig or two of mint in the top of the glass and serve with 2 straws.
