Texas Pecan Pie

Ingredients
  White corn syrup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Dark brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed
  Salt 1⁄3 Teaspoon
  Margarine 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), melted
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Eggs 3 , slightly beaten
  Pecan halves 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  9 inch pie shell 1 , unbaked
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°.
Combine syrup, sugar, salt, margarine, and vanilla; mix well.
Add eggs.
Pour into pie shell.
Sprinkle pecans over all.
If time allows, arrange pecans neatly in circles on top of pie.
Bake for 45-55 minutes.
(Sharp knife inserted in pie should come out clean).
