|Orange juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dark brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
|Dark raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
About 1 1/2 hours before serving: Boil yams in jackets in salted water for 30 minutes or until just tender.
Remove from water; cool.
Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine orange juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and butter.
Peel yams; slice 1/2 inch thick.
Layer yams and raisins in 12" by 9" by 2" baking dish; add orange-juice mixture.
Cover with foil; bake along with turkey (temperature 325°F.) for last half hour, basting occasionally with juice mixture.
