California Waldorf Salad
|Grapes||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Tart apple||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), unpared cubed|
|Celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced|
|French dressing||2 Tablespoon|
|Mustard mayonnaise||1 Tablespoon|
|Mayonnaise/Cooked salad dressing||3 Tablespoon|
|Light cream||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Crisp salad greens||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Walnuts||2 Tablespoon, coarsely chopped|
1. Halve grapes crosswise; remove seeds.
2. In small bowl, toss grapes with apple, celery, salt, and French dressing, to combine. Refrigerate, covered, 1 hour.
3. Make Mustard Mayonnaise: In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, cream, and mustard, mixing well.
4. Just before serving, gently mix salad with mayonnaise.
