California Style Chicken Mole

Ingredients
  Frying chicken 3 Pound
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Canned diced green chilies 4 Ounce, diced (1 Can)
  Sliced almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sesame seeds 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cumin 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Anise seed 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cilantro 1⁄4 Teaspoon (Coriander Leaf)
  Chervil 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1 Pinch
  Semisweet chocolate 2 Ounce
  Corn meal 2 Tablespoon
  Diced tomatoes 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Brown chicken in 1/4 cup butter.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Add water and simmer, covered, 1 hour.
Drain and reserve stock.
Saute onion and garlic in 1/4 cup butter.
In blender, combine onion, green chiles, nuts, sesame seeds, salt and spices.
Blend until smooth.
In saucepan, combine blended mixture, broken chocolate and corn meal.
Cook until sauce is thick.
Stir in tomatoes.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Pour sauce over chicken; simmer 10 minutes.
Serve in colorful Mexican casserole dish.
