|Ground beef sirloin||5 Ounce|
|Low fat monterey jack cheese||3⁄4 Ounce, cut in half (1 slice)|
|Kaiser rolls||2 Ounce, each cut in half horizontally and lightly toasted (2 pieces, 1 ounce each)|
|Avocado slices||4 , pared (4 slices, 1/2 ounce each)|
|Alfalfa sprouts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Pickle||1 Medium, cut in half|
1. Preheat broiler. Shape sirloin into 2 equal patties and arrange on rack in broiling pan; broil 5 inches from heat source until medium-rare, 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until done to taste.
2. Top each burger with half of the cheese and broil until cheese melts, about 1 minute.
3. Onto bottom half of each roll arrange 1 lettuce leaf and 1 burger; then top each with 1 tablespoon ketchup, 2 tomato slices, 2 avocado slices, 2 tablespoons sprouts, and remaining half of roll. Serve each burger with pickle half.
