Mixed Citrus Compote With Florida Orange Lime Syrup
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Florida orange juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Fresh lime juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Grated orange zest||1 Tablespoon|
|Grated lime zest||2 Teaspoon|
|Seedless florida oranges||4 , peeled, white pith removed and sectioned|
|Florida tangerines||2 , seeded, peeled, white pith removed and sectioned|
|Florida grapefruit||2 , peeled, white pith removed and sectioned (Red / Pink Colored)|
|Limes||2 , peeled, white pith removed and sectioned|
Combine sugar, orange juice and lime juice in small saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat; add orange zest and lime zest.
Combine remaining ingredients in medium bowl.
Add sugar syrup mixture, stirring gently to combine.
Chill at least 1 hour before serving.
