This Shanghai Rice is one of the best Chinese rice dishes that I've ever tasted. An extremely flavorful blend of rice, vegetables and pork, it makes a sumptuous meal. Satiate your taste buds with this Shanghai Rice at the earliest as making them wait is a sin ! Tell me what you think about this dish
Ingredients
  Veal/Pork 1 Pound, diced
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Celery 3 Cup (48 tbs), chopped
  Onion 1 Cup (16 tbs), minced
  Carrots 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), sliced
  Salted peanuts 1 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Shoyu 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Saute meat in hot oil over medium heat.
Add rest of ingredients, cover and simmer 25 minutes.
Combine with fluffy rice: Add 1 1/2 cups rice slowly to 3 cups boiling water to which 1 tsp.
salt and 2 Tbsp.
oil have been added to prevent sticking.
Cover pan, reduce heat to simmer and cook 30 minutes or until all water is absorbed.
Toss lightly with fork before combining with meat mixture.
