Pompano Florida Style
|Pompano fillets/Sea bass / mullet / red snapper||32 Ounce (Four Fillets Or Steak, 8 Ounces Each, Otherwise Use)|
|Lemon/Lime||1 , sliced|
|Lemon juice/Lime juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Oranges||4 Small, sliced|
|Bermuda onion||8 Ounce, sliced|
Rinse and dry fillets and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Line center of baking pan with slices of lemon or lime and lay fish on top.
Sprinkle with juice.
Bake at 350Â° F., basting with the juice, until fish flakes easily when tested, 25-30 minutes, depending on the size of the fillets or steaks.
Arrange overlapping slices of orange and onion on 4 individual serving plates, each holding a cooked fillet.
Dust with paprika.
