Texas Style Beans

Ingredients
  Pinto beans 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt pork 1⁄4 Pound, diced
  Chopped onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Tomatoes 2 Can (20 oz)
  Green pepper 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), diced
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Bottled hot pepper sauce 6 Drop
Directions

In 2 quart bean pot or casserole, cover beans with water; soak overnight.
Do not drain.
Add salt pork, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper to the beans.
Simmer, covered, for 2 hours.
Add tomatoes, green pepper, sugar, and hot pepper sauce.
Cover and simmer 3 hours more.
