Fresh Strawberry Torte

Ingredients
  Puff pastry shells 4
  Strawberries 450 Gram (2 Cups)
  Berry liqueur 60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon zest 1 Teaspoon
  Creme anglaise custard/Custard sauce 475 Milliliter (2 Cups)
  Apricot preserves 118 Milliliter, melted (1/2 Cup)
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Bake pastry shells 7 minutes, until brown.
Marinate strawberries in berry liqueur, sugar, and lemon zest, for at least 20 minutes.
Fill pastry shells with creme anglaise and cover with marinated berries.
Glaze with melted apricot preserves.
