|Brazil nuts||1⁄2 Pound, ground|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Beat egg whites until dry.
Beat egg yolks until frothy.
Add sugar a little at a time to yolks.
Take a good spoonful of beaten whites and blend with yolks.
Add nuts, and fold carefully, then fold in rest of whites.
Bake in two 8" cake pans at 300 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Put together with sweetened whipped cream when cool.
Better yet, bake the day before.
