Tomatoes With Herbs

Ingredients
  Ripe tomatoes 4
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
  Salt To Taste
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), chopped
  Chopped herbs 2 Tablespoon (Basil, Parsley, Thyme)
  Fresh breadcrumbs 3⁄4
  Butter 30 Gram
Directions

Cut off the top of each tomato and season generously with salt and pepper. Sprinkle each with a little of the garlic and herbs and top with breadcrumbs (if using). Put a generous dot of butter on top of each tomato. Arrange in a buttered gratin dish and bake in a moderate oven, 180C (350F), for 10 minutes. Serve from the dish
