Tomato Cheese Toast
|Thin cream/Rich milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Heated tomatoes||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , well beaten|
|Diced processed cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Melt butter or margarine in pan.
Blend in the flour.
Stir in the cream and cook until thick.
Add tomatoes heated with soda and well beaten eggs.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add cheese just before serving and stir well.
Serve at once on toast.
Tomatoes could be slightly sweetened if desired.
