Broiled tomatoes are flavorful and simple enough to go with any dish. Prepared with tomato halves smeared with yogurt, pepper and garlic mix, and topped with breadcrumbs, the broiled tomatoes cooked to a golden top and sprinkled with parsley.
|Plain yogurt||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Freshly ground pepper||1 Dash|
|Garlic salt||1 Dash|
|Bread crumbs||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
Cut tomatoes in half crosswise.
Mix yogurt, pep-per and garlic salt.
Spread over tomato halves.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Broil about 6 inches from heat, until topping is golden and tomatoes are soft.
Garnish with chopped parsley.
