|Soft bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shredded sharp processed cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|American cheese||(as required)|
|Butter||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Snipped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
Halve tomatoes (or cut in. thick slices).
Sprinkle cut surfaces with salt and freshly ground pepper.
Mix bread crumbs, cheese, and butter; sprinkle over tomatoes.
Trim with the snipped parsley.
Heat tomatoes, cut side up, on griddle about 5 minutes or until hot through.
