Hominy And Tomatoes

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Large
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Canned tomatoes 16 Ounce
  Chili powder To Taste
  Sugar To Taste
  Monosodium glutamate To Taste
  Canned yellow hominy 15 Ounce
  Grated sharp cheddar cheese 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
Directions

Cook onion in oil in skillet until browned lightly.
Add tomatoes, chili powder, sugar and monosodium glutamate.
Simmer, stirring frequently, for 30 min- utes or until just a small amount of liquid remains.
Add hominy; heat through.
Remove mixture from heat; stir in cheese.
