Directions

MAKING
1) Halve all the tomatoes and place them on a baking sheet the seeded side up
2) Drizzle them with some canola oil
3) Season with salt
4) Bake in the oven for about 6 hours
5) Once out from the oven, take them out
6) Julienne them to yield 1 cup
7) Heat a pan on the stove
8) Pour about a tablespoon of oil
9) Sauté the roasted tomatoes in the pan
10) Add the whipping cream and cooked penne pasta
11) And the mixture through
12) Transfer into a big bowl

SERVING
13) Serve the pasta hot with some fresh ribbons of basil
