1) In a large saucepan, add in the tomatoes.
2) Sprinkle salt on top.
3) Cover the saucepan. Let the tomatoes cook on low flame for 30 minutes.
4) Strain the tomatoes. Pass them through a strainer by mashing to a pulp.
5) Allow the Tomato Paste to cool. You can store it in the refrigerator upto several weeks.
6) Serve the Tomato Sauce on pastas or over pizza base garnished with a variety of toppings.
