Marinated Tomato, Cucumber and onion Slices

Ingredients
  Tomatoes 3 , cut into wedges
  Cucumber 1 , scored and sliced
  Purple onion 1 , cut into rings
  Lettuce leaves 4
  Wine vinegar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Worcestershire sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Coarsely ground pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Dried whole basil 1 Tablespoon
  Dried whole thyme 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1) On a lettuce lined serving platter, combine together the cucumber, tomatoes and onion.
2) In a jar, combine together the vinegar and all the remaining ingredients. Cover the jar lightly and shake vigorously.
3) Cover the vgetables, pour the vinegar mixture.

SERVING
4) Serve the marinated vegetbales as preferred, or use them in moe elaborate preparations.
