Plain Casseroled Tomatoes

Ingredients
  Ripe tomatoes 3
  Butter 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper To Taste
  Vegetable salt To Taste
Directions

Scald ripe tomatoes to remove their skins.
Place in casserole dish with a little butter, pepper and vegetable salt.
Do not add water as their own juice is sufficient.
This is one of the most delicious ways with tomatoes, for every bit of the tasty juice is retained.
