Easy Fried Green Tomatoes
|Green tomatoes||4 Medium, cut into 1/4-inch slices|
|Onion salt||1 Teaspoon|
|Cornmeal||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Bacon drippings||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1)Season cut tomatoes with onion salt and pepper.
2)Dust both sides of tomato pieces with cornmeal.
3)Fry the tomatoes in bacon dripping until brown.
4)Drain on paper towels.
5)Serve hot as appetizer or along with the main course dish.
