Macaroni Tomato Surprise
|Salad macaroni||4 Pound, uncooked|
|Hard cooked eggs||16 , chopped|
|Salad dressing||2 Quart|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Celery seed||1 Tablespoon|
|Green peppers||2 Cup (32 tbs), chopped|
|Chopped green onions||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Cook macaroni according to'package directions; drain.
Toss with eggs.
Combine salad dressing, lemon juice,-celery seed, green peppers and onions.
Pour over macaroni and eggs.
Mix lightly but thoroughly.
Refrigerate until ready to make up salads.
Cut tomatoes into wedges, leaving wedges connected at base.
Place on lettuce leaves; press out tomato sections to form cups.
Fill each with salad.
Garnish with deviled eggs, if desired.
