Marinated Whole Tomatoes

Ingredients
  Tomatoes 6 Medium (Peeled)
  Onion 1 Small, finely chopped
  Vinegar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Vegetable oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Red pepper sauce 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
Directions

Place tomatoes in 9 X 9 X 2-inch baking dish.
Mix remaining ingredients; spoon onto tomatoes.
Cover and refrigerate, turning occasionally, at least 8 hours but no longer than 24 hours.
Sprinkle with parsley if desired.
