Sauteed Green Tomatoes

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Brown sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Green tomatoes 4 Medium, cored and cut crosswise into 1/2-inch-thick slices
  Vegetable oil 3 Tablespoon (Use More If Required)
  Finely chopped parsley 2 Teaspoon (For Garnish)
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
Directions

Combine flour, sugar, salt, and pepper in pie plate and dip tomato slices into mixture, coating both sides.
Heat oil in saute pan over medium heat and saute tomatoes, a few at a time, about 2 minutes to a side, or until golden brown.
Add more oil as necessary.
As they are done, place tomatoes on a paper towel on a warm platter.
Transfer to serving platter and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
