1. Remove stem ends from tomatoes; cut tomatoes in half. Arrange cut-sides up in circle on 10-inch pie plate or dinner plate. Season with salt and pepper.
2. Mix crumbs and herbs; mound on tomatoes. Microwave uncovered on high (100%) 2 minutes; rotate pie plate 1/2 turn. Sprinkle tomatoes with cheese. Microwave until tomatoes are hot and cheese is melted, about 2 minutes longer. Garnish with parsley if desired.
