Fried Green Tomatoes
|Cornmeal||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic salt||2 Tablespoon|
|Cayenne pepper||2 Teaspoon|
|21 seasoning salute||2 Teaspoon (Trader Joe's)|
|Canola oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
Mix dry ingredients into a shallow bowl.
In another bowl mix milk and eggs together.
Wash and slice green tomatoes, thinly.
Heat oil, until hot enough to fry ( by testing a small amount of flour into oil).
Dip green tomato into egg batter, then into flour mixture.
