|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dried sage||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Green tomatoes||3 Large, cut into 1/2-inch slices|
|Peanut oil||4 Tablespoon (For Brushing Grill)|
|Minced parsley||2 Tablespoon|
Mix cornmeal with garlic, sage, salt, and pepper.
Spread on a flat plate.
Dust both sides of green tomato slices with flavored cornmeal.
Preheat stovetop grill.
Brush grill surface lightly with oil.
Cook tomato slices over medium-high heat about 1 to 2 minutes per side.
Turn tomatoes once during grilling.
Tomatoes will be crusty on the outside and warm on the inside.
Remove tomato slices to serving plate.
Sprinkle with minced parsley
