Tomato Veal Chops
|Veal loin chops||4 (3/4 Inch Thick)|
|Tomato juice||250 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Corn syrup||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Vegetable oil||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Tarragon||1⁄2 Teaspoon (2 Milliliter)|
|Chervil||1⁄2 Teaspoon (2 Milliliter)|
|Green peppercorns||15 Milliliter, mashed (15 Milliliter)|
|Lime juice||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
Preheat barbecue at HIGH.
Trim excess fat from chops and place them in deep dish; set aside.
Mix tomato juice, corn syrup and oil together in bowl.
Add seasonings, peppercorns and lime juice; mix well and pour over veal.
Marinate 30 minutes.
Place chops on hot grill.
Partly cover and cook 15 minutes.
Turn 4 times, baste often and season once or twice.
