Golden Fried Green Tomatoes
|All purpose flour/Cornmeal||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Salad oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. In pie plate, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Dip tomato slices in flour mixture to coat both sides thoroughly. Place floured slices on waxed paper.
2. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot salad oil, cook tomato slices, a few at a time, until golden brown on both sides and heated through. Drain on paper towels.
