Fried Green Tomatoes

|Firm green tomatoes||6 Large, cut into 1/4 inch slices|
|Cornmeal||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||200 Milliliter|
Dredge tomatoes in cornmeal.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add tomatoes and fry over medium-high heat until browned.
