Hot Chili Cheese Tomatoes
|Ripe firm tomatoes||10 Medium, peeled|
|Canned chopped green chilies||2 Tablespoon|
|Dairy sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Shredded longhorn cheese/Shredded monterey jack cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped green onion||2 Tablespoon|
Cut tomatoes in half; squeeze each gently to drain off some of the excess liquid and seeds.
Arrange 5 tomatoes (10 halves) cut side up in 2 quart shallow baking pan.
Thoroughly ' blend sour cream with seasonings, flour, and chopped chilies.
Spoon 1 teaspoon mixture over each tomato.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese over all.
Cook uncovered in oven for 4 minutes, turning dish after 2 minutes.
Repeat procedure with remaining tomatoes.
