Fried Green Tomatoes

Ingredients
  All purpose flour/Cornmeal 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Green tomatoes 4 Large, cut into 0.25 inch slices
  Salad oil/Bacon drippings 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine flour or cornmeal, salt, and pepper; dredge tomato slices with this mixture.
Place in heavy skillet containing hot bacon drippings or salad oil.
Fry slowly until brown, turning once.
