|Tartar sauce||1⁄2 Pint|

|Black pepper||To Taste|
Dip tomatoes in hot water, skin them and remove cores and seeds; flavour with salt and pepper.
Cut the ham and the meat salad into small pieces, and fill them into the tomatoes, pour some tartare sauce on each tomato, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Garnish with neatly diced aspic and lettuce leaves.
